Recent cases at the Supreme Court

First I going to start with the case that I agree with an that is the Supreme Court going against the DC gun ban. This 5-4 Decsison protects the American people right under the Second amendment of the constitution to bear arms.

Now to the case that has been eaten at me since I heard the news about. How could the Supreme Court in another 5-4 decsison stated that somebody cant be put to death for rape of a child if a murder hasnt occur. The decsion by the court to seems to me that if you kill a store clerk like the man who was put to death yesterday in my home state of Virgina, but you wont pay the price for taking the childhood of a young child.
